FAQ
WHEN CAN I START?
While it is best to enroll at the beginning of the session, you may join at any time
as long as there is space available in the class!
HOW DO I ENROLL?
After viewing the schedule, please call the studio 721-9477 or come in to register for your classes. There
is no on-line registration at this time.
WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION FEE?
The
Registration fee is $20 for a single student or $35 per family.
HOW MANY
TIMES A WEEK SHOULD I TAKE CLASS?
Our students take anywhere from 1 hour a week to over 8 hours a week. It really
depends on your own personal goals. We recommend taking at least twice a week if you can as each dance class can be
linked to the other in some way. For example, if you want to take a jazz class, consider taking a supporting ballet
class to help further develop you technical foundation. If you want to take Hip Hop, Jazz is a nice compliment to it.
If you want further guidance on classes, just give us a call! We will be happy to help.
If you are enrolling a preschool
age student for the first time, we suggest starting with one hour per week. Some students take twice a week but start
with one to make sure they are going to like it! (We know they will though:)
DO YOU HAVE A RECITAL OR PERFORMANCE AT THE END OF THE SESSION?
We'll have our annual recital the first weekend
in June of 2010 with the dress rehearsal usually the weekend before. Starting in our spring session, each class will
have the opportunity to learn a 3-6 minute piece of choreography to perform. A costume will be specially selected for
the class by the instructor. We hold our recitals in a professional setting, with lighting, photographers, and a videographer
to give you or your dancer an experience to remember. Past recitals have been held at Centennial Hall, Berger Theatre,
The Leo Rich Theater, and the TCC Music Hall. Participation in the recital is optional but highly encouraged! More info
will be distributed in Late January-February.
